State Counselor Erlan Karin held a regular meeting of the State Commission for the Full Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

The meeting reviewed the progress of the research, publishing, and archival work of the State Commission. During the event, plans were announced for the publication in 2023 of the next block of collections of materials and documents dedicated to the history of political repression.

Scientists and experts also presented the results of scientific projects focused on the in-depth study and analysis of materials related to the topic of political repression during the period of the 20th and 50s of the XX century.

In addition, the meeting reviewed the progress of the targeted funding program, implemented to support scientists and researchers in organizing research work.

Following the meeting, instructions were given aimed at implementing the key tasks of the State Commission for the development of publishing activities, the continuation of research work, systematization, and funding of the archival base.
