Under the chairmanship of the State Counselor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Erlan Karin, a regular meeting of the State Commission for the Full Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression was held.

At the meeting, the results of scientific and publishing activities were reviewed, materials on ongoing archival research were studied, and information on the work of the electronic portal of the State Commission was presented.

A report on the current activities of regional commissions was also heard, and the progress of projects for the preparation of their scientific collections was reviewed.

In addition, during the meeting, members of the State Commission presented the work “Azir olmeymin” (“Tez olmen”), discovered during the study of archives, the author of which is the writer and poet Zhusupbek Aymautov. It was discovered during the research work of the Presidential Archive. The Director of the Presidential Archive, A. Mustafina, spoke about the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the work and the analysis carried out. The document remains to be studied by philologists and literary scholars.

Following the meeting, instructions were given aimed at continuing research activities, systematizing the publication of materials by regional commissions, and ensuring work on digitization and declassification of materials from closed funds.
