Dedicated to the 95th Anniversary of Orazak Ismagulov

On September 30, 2025, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana) hosted the round table «Century. Personality. Science,» dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the prominent anthropologist, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Orazak Ismagulov. The event was attended by members of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leading scholars, public figures, as well as the relatives of the scientist. Sabyr Kasymov, Head of the Project Office of the State Commission for the Full Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repressions, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the academic path and personality of the jubilarian. In conclusion, the participants emphasized Orazak Ismagulov’s invaluable contribution to national and world anthropology and put forward proposals to award him state honors and to ensure the training of scientific successors.
