The hallintroduces the historyof occurrencein the territory ofKazakhstan ofoneof the most extensiveSovietconcentrationcamps-the forced laborcampsof the NKVDof the USSR-Karlag.
The hallexhibits- originals, copies of documents, photographs, volume objects, dioramas, a map - showthe repressivepolicy of the Sovietstate.
The display cases contain documents (since 1918) of the general order of policy and activitiesof the Gulag. Also there are documents about organization andstructure ofKarlag, the administrative centerhistorically was village Dolinka.
